What kind of things make you favor one person more than another?

Read James 2:1-13
Discussion Questions:

1. Do you think it is easier to have faith when you are poor than when you are rich? Explain?
2. Verse 5 says "..Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith" - Is God guilty of showing favoritism in this way?
3. The cross is the ultimate example of mercy triumphing over judgement. How has your acceptance/understanding of God's mercy provided to you through the cross changed the way the way you interact with others?
4. What else did you learn this week?

Think about how you view/treat the various people in your lives. Do something this week to bless someone who you may not regularly look upon with favor.
