- How would you describe the efforts at intimidation aimed against Nehemiah and those building the wall?
- What principles can you take away from the way Nehemiah responds to the intimidation? Explain.
- Nehemiah describes the building of the wall as a "great project" or "great work," what areas of our lives should be seen in the same way, so that we remain committed to the effort? In the past, have you been part of a great work for God? What were the circumstances.
- Many of the nobles of Judah had divided loyalties because of relationships and oaths, do you ever feel like you are divided in your loyalty to Christ and his kingdom? Why?
